The posts can serve a number of purposes.

Firstly, once on your site an article is easy to link to and talk about in social media, whether that be for example Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. A quick tweet or Facebook post can bring people to your site to read the article and to then spend more time reading round your site on other areas.

Secondly, with 10 posts per month being provided, you will have plenty of content to pick and choose from to help produce a newsletter, whether that be a physical printed newsletter or email newsletter. Mixed with news and biographies about your practice, newsletters are a great way of keeping in touch with existing clients and cross selling services.
